Alliance Seed is excited to announce the appointment of Carisa Penner as our new Sales and Marketing Manager, effective April 18, 2024. In this role, Carisa will be responsible for driving sales growth and leading marketing initiatives for Alliance Seed, working closely with our growers and retail network to promote our brand and support product placement strategies.

Carisa has been part of the Alliance Seed team since October 2023 in a term position, during which she has further strengthened her passion for cereal and pulse seeds. Her time with the company has allowed her to deepen her connection with the industry, and she looks forward to continuing to engage with growers and retailers through events, trade shows, and both farm and office meetings.

Carisa brings a wealth of agricultural experience, having grown up on a mixed grain and cattle operation. She now continues her passion for farming alongside her partner in southern and central Manitoba. Before joining Alliance Seed, Carisa spent six years with Cargill, where she gained valuable experience and knowledge in crop input sales and developed a strong foundation in customer relations and agronomy.

Carisa holds a Diploma in Crop Technology from Lakeland College in Vermilion, Alberta. Her deep understanding of crop production, combined with her sales expertise, makes her a valuable asset to the Alliance Seed team.

Outside of work, Carisa enjoys spending time at the lake, side by siding, playing games, and connecting with friends and family. She currently resides in Erickson, MB, and will be based out of her home office there.
